in the UK. 247 Developments is renowned for its high quality
range of Etched locomotive name and number plates (steam era)
for GW, SR, LMS, LNER and BR. Most nameplate and GW cabside plates
are in 8 thou brass, pre-coloured and etched to shape, finished
with satin varnish to preserve their appearance. Stainless steel
nameplates and smoke box plates are manufactured in 5 thou stainless
steel. Growing range of stainless steel shed plates also available.
A comprehensive catalogue of other items is also available at
75p plus 25p p&p and in this you will find : Coach range
covering ex-Bettabitz GWR Clerestory range; LMS is covered with
extensive range of over 60 packs of coach sides including Period
1, 2 and 3 stock. Detailing parts for coach roofs, nuts and bolts
(6BA to 14BA), coach ends for GWR, SR, LMS, LNER, BR Mk1 and
LSWR. also 247 can supply 3-link couplings, screw link couplings,
crankpins and items from the Romford (Markits) range.
