Supply of a comprehensive range of railway modelling products for the 4mm scale modeller. Specialising in EM and 18.83mm (P4) gauges but some items also suitable for '00' and other scales. In a recent article by J Douglas Smith in the Model Railway Journal No. 180 he writes about "Southern Railway Post-and-Wire Fencing". This is a stocked EMGS item (part 669F) and we have a special offer of 3 sprues as shown in photo 8 for £5 including post and packing. (Please quote this web page when ordering). The wheel profiles for both EM (18.2mm) and P4 (18.83mm) gauges are shown in the Main Menu under "What is EM?" The current EMGS Price List is No.30 dated February 2008. This list was sent to all members during the January mailing. The new range of brass rod and thin walled tube added to the Sales List during 2007 (see Price List on this web site) will become a permanent sales item for the Society and we may be adding additional products to this as demand requires. Mail order only to EMGS members. The EMGS Trade Stand attends the three annual expoEM events (May, September and November) and also the Members' and AGM Day held in February each year. Track making components such as wooden sleepers, crossing and sleeper timbering, track making rivets, and the range of C&L Finescale components are available. Rail (bullhead) in both steel and nickel silver and Flat bottom in nickel silver as well as ready assembled Flexitrack (EM and 18.83mm gauges) are all well stocked. Track, check rail, crossing flangeway, and back to back gauges in both EM and 18.83 Full range of wagon compensation units (W Irons) and suitable axlebox and spring castings and bearings. Locomotive mainframes, hornblocks, bearings, pick-ups, axles and conversion parts from several manufacturers as well as components of our own design and manufacture are available. To assist modellers in the conversion of locomotives and stock to either to EM or P4 (18.83mm gauge), the Society provides specialist parts to make the conversions as simple as possible. Crossing V jigs are available as stock items. Three types available For bullhead rail (1:5 1:6 1:7 1:8) and (1:9 1:10 1:11 1:12) Following the success of these jigs an additional tool, a Switchblade Planing Jig, has also been introduced.
