SatNav M31 4ES The Sports Village is just past the junction of Cross Lane West and Chapel Lane.
On site parking is available but the playing fields may be in use especially on Saturday. If so follow the access road around past the main building and there is extra parking available at the back. Alternatively park on one of the residential streets nearby.
By Public Transport:
If coming from Central Manchester take the 255 Bus from Piccadilly Gardens to Partington. This also calls at Urmston Station which has a direct train service from Manchester Piccadilly. The bus service is a half hourly Saturday & Sunday.
If you are coming via Altrincham the 247 bus is every half hour on Saturdays and every hour on Sundays.
On both services alight at Warburton Lane, Partington Methodist Church. For full bus details view the TFGM website:- http://www.tfgm.com/journey_planning/Pages/bus_times_leaflet_library.aspx.
For rail services check www.thetrainline.com/train-times/manchester-to-urmston
here will be a free (on the hour) Vintage Bus service, both days, from Urmston Station via Chapel Lane junction with Warburton Lane to the Sports Village.
Refreshments will be available on site but with a limited menu of tea, coffee, sandwiches, etc. In Partington Village about a 1/4 mile away there is a Tesco Express which will have food and two pubs which regrettably do not serve food.
